Shandrea was enjoying a young women’s lifestyle of shopping, traveling and attending to her young career. Soon, she realized the impact of debt and began working multiple jobs to help pay for student loans and credit debt. At one point recently she was juggling three jobs to make ends meet. Nearly all of her time was spent working.
Shandrea occasionally made time to travel with her parents to TLC events and her mother encouraged her to consider doing the business part time. “My mom told me that even as an amateur marketer, I could easily earn between $250-$1000 a week. I didn’t fully believe I could do it. But I met current TLC Ambassador, Stormy Wellington and shortly after spending some time with her, she confirmed what my mom had already told me. She said to stick with my mom and duplicate everything that she does,” recalls Shandrea.
Shandrea was still not ready to commit to becoming and IBO. She was enjoying the products and their results, but was still hesitant to add a fourth job to her already busy lifestyle. However, Shandrea did join Total Life Changes in January 2015 because she wanted to lose weight and took advantage of purchasing the products at a lower cost as an IBO.
She was certain that she would just use the products to assist her goals for weight loss. But shortly after using a combination of TLC products and losing over thirty pounds, she decided to use her personal testimony as a way to launch her own TLC business.

When asked how she feels about changing the direction of her career from the field of clinical counseling to full-time network marketer she proudly stated, “I’m not looking back to be honest. I did what Stormy told me to do and through time I started to earn $1000 a week in this business that I believe in. That success led to earning $20K in my first four months. I decided to walk away from my career in clinical counseling and I made $50K part-time in one year.

With that being said, sometimes you have to say, ‘yes’ and believe when you don't know what the outcome would be. 3 STYLING TIPS MODELS WITH CURLY HAIR SWEAR BY

Grace Mahary, Chanel Iman, Heidy de la Rosa and Maria Borges know a thing or two about caring for curls.

 
With all the blowouts, curling, and straightening they go through on a daily basis, models inevitably become pretty reliable experts when it comes to taking care of hair. At an event celebrating hair-care brand Mizani's 25th Anniversary on Monday night, we got to chat with some of the ones best known for embracing their natural curly texturesGrace MaharyChanel Iman, Heidy de la Rosa and Maria Borges, the company's new spokesmodels.
Mizani's brand M.O. is all about offering affordable products for women with textured hair, which Iman says haven't always been easy to find, in her experience. "When I was growing up, it was difficult to find good hair products," she says. As a model of mixed ethnicities, she found that it was difficult to match her hair type to any of the categories she saw referenced in the beauty aisle.
The significance of becoming one of the faces of a hair-care line geared toward women of color doesn't escape Mahary, either. "My hair tells a story every day...and I try to be a positive example for women to embrace whatever they’re born with." said Mahary. "Growing up not having those products, and now to be the face of them? I’m just floored and honored to be here." The models also offered up three of their best curly-hair tips:
Avoid shampoo and hot tools. 
"I try to wash [my hair] as little as possible, like once a week, unless I do a job and they use a lot of heat on it, or a lot of product," says de la Rosa. "But I mainly just put a lot of conditioner on the bottom." She also suggests avoiding heat styling whenever possible, and always using a thermal protectant when you do.
Use a moisturizing oil.
"Last year, I did [the] Victoria's Secret [Fashion Show] and it was the first time with my natural hair," Borges says. "Having natural hair is the most amazing thing that I choose to work with. I use monoi oil, since it keeps it healthy every day."
Go the minimalist route when you can. 
"I used to think I needed 17 different products to keep the moisture in," says Mahary. "But it’s true: Once you find one that works for you, you don’t need as much." De la Rosa agrees: "I try not to fuss with it too much. They do so much to it at work, so I prefer to let it be."

Rihanna Is Joining LVMH to Release a Complete Makeup Line

In addition to her FENTY PUMA collection, Rihanna is now joining forces with LVMH to release a complete makeup line. Kendo, of which is under the LVMH umbrella, will be launching the range, titled Fenty Beauty by Rihanna. The line will be sold at LVMH’s Sephora perfumery chain and other outposts, as it will be launching in Fall 2017.
For now, no other details have been provided regarding the partnership, but insiders are estimating that the deal could have cost LVMH’s upwards of $10 million USD.
Fenty Beauty by Rihanna joins the likes of Kat Von D Beauty and Marc Jacobs Beauty as the third major color cosmetics project that Kendo has undertaken.
